Qualified in Belfast as a professional Graphic Design in 1997 and certified from the Institute of Creative Advertising and Design Dublin, Alistair moved through the ranks of various Advertising and Design agencies before starting the company (later rebranded as Sugar Rush) in 2003. Alistair will never let anything bland leave the studio doors and expects a high level of design and customer relations in every project.
We received amazing news this week, as one of our clients ‘Homecliffe Hotel’ has picked up ‘Tourism Website of the Year’ at the Blackpool Tourism Awards. Firstly we would like to congratulate Homecliffe Hotel on their well-deserved award and know at first hand how hard they have worked to keep high standards within the hotel.
Sugar Rush Creative knew how competitive their industry is, especially where the hotel is located. We needed to understand the market place and had the experience to design, layout and develop the website to it’s success. The Homecliffe website had to appeal to prospective customers and create a buzz within the existing client base. We concentrated on promoting their luxury accommodation, highlighting the most important areas of information. It was critical that information would run seamlessly with the Web technology built.
The website design is the forefront of online marketing for the hotel and should ultimately bring in major revenue. To secure this, we needed to focus on optimizing the website to it’s highest potential. We researched relating keywords and key phrases which will help direct high volume of traffic to the website. We also implemented other key techniques of website optimization to help make every opportunity for the hotel to be found on all search engines.
It was a pleasure to work with the Homecliffe Hotel team and we wish all the success in the future and Sugar Rush Creative will always be there to support.
