Sugar Rush Creative are proud to announce the re-launch of the Ormeau Business Park website. Ormeau Business Park, situated on the regenerated Gasworks site, is a key provider of business support in South Belfast providing rented workspace, training facilities, enterprise training and mentoring.
Since it’s launch in 2000 Ormeau has attracted a dynamic tenant base of innovative businesses working both in the local and international market place. Unfortunately Ormeau’s website did not reflect the park’s ethos and Sugar Rush were drafted in to rejuvenate their image.
We designed an eye-catching and engaging user interface that takes essential information, which can often be lifeless & tedious to read, and displayed it in such a way that lures the user in and grabs their attention. A key example of this is the unit plan which takes monotonous content such as office dimensions and adds interactivity by encouraging the user to explore the map to find out more about each unit.
On the homepage we have focused on fast tracking the user to the content that they want. By identifying the key areas of interest, users can find what they are looking for much quicker and with ease.
The website itself uses cutting edge development technology, from emerging HTML5 & CSS3 techniques for structure and styling to JQuery for animation and interactivity. Behind the scenes we have included content management software to allow easy maintenance of events and other content, as well as providing an expandable platform to allow blogging to be integrated in the near future.
